We won’t blame you if you catch yourself smirking or outright bursting to laughter while watching this hand-held camera footage from CBS13 photojournalist James Taylor, who happened to be at the right place at the right time.
What was going on here is that, Sacramento cops were on the hunt for 19-year old Michael Kennedy, after he allegedly fled from a police officer at a nearby light rail station.
With the cameraman rolling, but not intervening, Kennedy jumped over the front fence of a home and nabbed a bicycle, leaning his head down so as to cunningly avoid being noticed by the cops searching in the background.
Little did he know that another officer had his eye on him and was ready to lash out like a pissed off NFL player…
As reported on CBS News, Kennedy was “booked for outstanding warrants, fleeing from police, burglary and felony assault on a police officer. Those warrants were for offenses involving the taking of a vehicle”.
