Owners of Fiat 500 Abarth vehicles will have the opportunity to make the most of their driving skills on the street, strip and track by participating at the 2014 Abarth Track Experience.

The event kicks off this month in the U.S., giving Fiat 500 Abarth drivers the opportunity to develop their driving skills in a one-day performance adventure. The 2014 schedule includes events in California, Texas, Florida, New Jersey and Illinois. During these events, drivers will pilot cars from a fleet of Abarths provided through four driving modules: autocross, head-to-head challenge, driving dynamics and performance drive.

At the end of the day, participants will ride shotgun as professional drivers pus the track-tuned Abarth vehicles to the limit.

“The Abarth Track Experience revs the fun to the red line, allowing owners to experience the limits of the car in a safe track environment. At the end of this experience, owners become true drivers by better understanding the dynamics of the ‘small but wicked’ Fiat 500 Abarth,” said Jason Stoicevich, Head of Fiat Brand North America.

The 2014 Abarth Track Experience begins February 18 at Laguna Seca in Salinas, California, with stops throughout the year in Forth Worth, Texas; Fontana, California; Angleton, Texas; Daytona Beach, Florida; Millville, New Jersey; Joliet, Illinois; and Englishtown, New Jersey.

Owners of Fiat 500 Abarth or Abarth Cabrio won’t have to pay a registration fee, as the Track Experience price is included in the cost of each Abarth vehicle.
