We were on the waiting line for the unveiling of the 2015 X3 facelift, or as BMW likes to call its redesigns internally, LCI, which is an abbreviation for “Lifecycle Impulse”, the first purportedly official images of the revised SUV hit the internet.
We can’t vouch for their authenticity just yet, but if they are real as we suspect, then the cosmetic changes for the 2015MY X3 include a new face that mimics the styling of the 3- and 4-Series models with redesigned headlamps that extend to the new, wider and more three-dimensional-looking front kidney grilles.
The front bumper design is also new as are the rocker panels.
Whether BMW has made more changes to the rest of the body and in particular, the rear end, along with any updates to the interior and the X3’s mechanical components, remains to be seen.
