The film creators pulled out all the stops when they set out to make the Need for Speed movie, probably wanting to assure themselves that it won’t suck badly, after having seen that a big budget can result in a insipid, B-rated rehash like the last Fast and Furious, if it’s presented in a totally un-sugarcoated way.
They even brought in the face of Aaron Paul, known for the highly-acclaimed Breaking Bad how-to meth cooking series, and promised us lots of actual car-related scenes and road racing – some of it will be aboard the new Ford Mustang, a car that even had a movie-flavored promo weeks before the film premieres and months before it goes on sale in the fall.
