Reports are in that four people lost their cars on snowy Georgia highway in last week’s snowstorm, having had them swiped by Louis Mitchell, aged 34. All the cars were abandoned at the time they were taken away, so it was an easy job…
According to CBS and the LA Times, the culprit was first spotted by officer Jamael Logan, for whom his vehicle stood out by not having the usual tow truck markings he was familiar with in that area of Atlanta, plus the temporary plate it was on.
At the time, the tow truck was spotted it was carrying a Toyota Camry on the back, whose owner immediately got notified and confirmed that he had not authorized any kind of towing activity whatsoever.
The police gave chase and Mitchell along with his accomplice in the passenger’s seat eventually stopped and made a run for it. The former was caught and it was later discovered that even the tow truck he was using did not belong to him either.
His bail is now set at $92,000 for multiple crimes aside from the obvious ones, like driving with a revoked license, among others.
