When your run of the mill Lamborghini isn’t special enough, then it’s time to call in the customizers from the Italian brand’s Ad Personam program, which has been renewed to “increase the ability to commission a new Lamborghini right down to the smallest details”, according to the company’s own words.
We’ll be seeing some of these new options at next week’s 84th Geneva International Auto Show in Switzerland through a special Aventador Roadster featuring an array of customizations to both its interior and exterior.
These include the first ever application of the Italian brand’s new Forged Composite inserts on the front spoiler, air intake and rear spoiler on the outside, and door sills, instrument cluster cowl, infotainment controls and screen trim on the inside.
The admittedly tasty blue hue named “Blue Sideris” and the matte silver paint on the exterior mirrors, windshield and rear section of the car were also chosen from the Ad Personam program.
According to Lamborghini, some other new options include an expanded choice of leathers, Alcantara, floor mats and bodywork colors, two-tone finishes, fresh materials such as semi-aniline leather and the aforementioned Forged Composite, plus more extreme levels of customization, “from hand-stitched seat emblems and monograms inside the passenger compartment, right through to requests for custom colors”.
While the program is restricted to the Aventador for now, Lamborghini says it will soon be extended to the new Huracan.
