The first leaked photo of the Audi S1 was official, as these four additional photos prove. As you probably know by now, the Audi S1 also previews the facelift of the A1 range, so expect to see the sharper headlights and taillights on regular A1 models soon.
Scheduled to debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, the first ever Audi S1 is likely to feature a turbocharged 2.0-liter petrol engine with around 220hp to 230hp.
The four-cylinder unit is expected to be mated to a standard six-speed manual transmission sending power to all four wheels and should propel the S1 from 0 to 100 km/h in around 6.5 seconds. A seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox may also be available as an option.
Visually, the Audi S1 looks more aggressive than the standard A1, thanks to the new aerodynamic kit, sharper LED headlights with red accents, and taillights, plus a quad tailpipe arrangement.
For full details, we will have to wait until tomorrow morning.
