The Ferrari California was always a bit of an opinion splitter among Ferrari enthusiasts, especially the first version – its rear was sometimes portrayed as being a bit too plump by some (even though it served the functional purpose of hiding the folded-up metal hardtop) and the engine did no provide the kind of performance one expected from a Ferrari.

Now, they’ve fixed the power issue, with the newly restyled California T, but the back looks just as big as it always has – it seems they concentrated on the front for this one. Thankfully, we can picture what a presumably sexier fixed hardtop coupe would look like courtesy of X-Tomi Design’s… design.

The photo posted below is a speculation of what it would look like as a regular coupe, though the renderer could have chosen a different angle to better show what’s going on around the back.
