If you ask me, the third and last iteration of the Ferrari Testarossa, the F512 M produced in just 500 units from 1994 through 1996, is one of the most tasteless styling jobs to come out of Maranello in the brand’s modern history; it’s as if some number-cruncher took the 1980s Testarossa and said, “hey, how about we screw on these leftover parts and give it a 1990s groove?”.
On the other hand, the Nissan 300ZX, together with the Mazda RX-7 FD, are arguably among the best designs to come our way from the Land of the Rising Sun in the 1990s.
Now, someone thought it would be a great idea to give a 1990 Nissan 300ZX Coupe a Ferrari 512 M-eque look via a replica job of sorts, the eye-watering results of which are documented in the gallery below.
The car is listed for sale on Craigslist in Costa Mesa, California, with an asking price of $11,500 and the following description:
“One of a kind, lots of custom features, Looks, Drives and Sounds like a real Race Car. Must See to believe. Priced to sell, the kit alone is more than the price shown. May consider Trade for something of value plus cash. Trade for 57 CHEVY BODY OR….?”
