Actual performance numbers don’t really matter when we have a Porsche 911 GT3, Aston Martin V12 Vantage S and Mercedes-Benz C63 Black Series to choose from, all of which are acknowledged to be good cars in their own respect, albeit different ones.
It really boils down to buying the (cheaper) Porsche if you often go to the track or any of the other two if you don’t. Then you factor in different looks and which noise you prefer and the choice becomes easier.
Naturally, you first have to drive each one before deciding which gets your vote, and that’s exactly what Chris Harris has done. He adds to the complexity of the matter by actually driving each car and factoring that first-hand experience into the simplistic argument from the paragraph above.
It’s actually quite an epic drive on roads and one track, and you can check it out in the video posted after the virtual break.
