We have to hand it to Carscoops reader Brett Borgard for being so diligent with the camera while traveling in Edwards, Colorado. Earlier this month, Brett spotted a convoy of BMWs, including at least a trio of camouflaged prototypes driving among the other German cars, and he fired up his digital equipment.
The question we have for you is, are said models you see in the pictures and the video that Brett shot of the next generation BMW X6, the new and smaller, but identical in styling philosophy, X4 or both?
Yes, BMW‘s one design for all sizes can be that confusing, making it very difficult at times to tell one model from the other without resorting to the tape measure or comparison methods.
However, I can say with certainty that, the silver model in our opening picture is the new X6 due to one very specific detail that differs from the X4 – no, I won’t tell because what’s the fun in that? What I will mention is that, you can find the answer in the scoop photos we have of the X6 and X4 crossovers(if you succeed, just tell us in the comments).
