You can color me surprised. After we received word last week about Swedish raincoat maker Stutterheim sharing photos of a new Volvo concept on its website, we were counting down the hours and days before the automaker would confirm the news.
It did today, but unexpectedly, they didn’t do so through their usual media channels but via a social media post pointing towards the raincoat maker’s site…
And I quote Volvo’s posting: “Our third and final concept car, waiting to be unveiled. The cover is designed in collaboration with Stutterheim Raincoats – a brand that shares our passion for Swedish craftsmanship.”
I assume Volvo will offer more details about its third concept model at some point before the Geneva Motor Show, but for now, I can tell you that it’s more or less certain that it’s a Shooting Brake version of last year’s well-received Coupe Concept.
