Everybody seems to have a slightly different take on the all-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe, and that’s good – it means there’s a lot of subtlety to the way it was designed to make you feel.
However, some of those voices we don’t necessarily want to hear, but one that we do is that of CNET’s Brian Cooley, who, in-keeping with South Park’s joke that “whenever something contrived needs explaining, Morgan Freeman comes along and makes it clear,” fills in that role.
Present at the Geneva motor show, he needs but two minutes to put the new flagship two-door into perspective, but without sounding as if he’s blowing Mercedes’ horn while doing it.
One thing’s for sure, whoever states it: this car will turn heads when it passes by, but it’s not the kind of car that will excite the soul, but rather one you’d love to have in your garage purely as a continent-crosser, and mobile relaxation room for two (the back is reportedly a bit cramped).
Check out what he had to say, below.
