We’ve seen Porsche’s new plug-in Cayenne S Hybrid E as well as regular versions of the upcoming facelift Cayenne, and now, our spies have brought to our attention these pictures of what they believe to be the Turbo model, possibly the Turbo S, judging from the shape of the four-piece exhaust pipes.
As with the other facelifted Cayennes, the visual tweaks on the Turbo focus on the two ends, with the front gaining revised headlamps, a wider hood and a newly designed bumper, and the rear, different tail light clusters and a reworked bumper.
We hear that the mechanical revisions will mimic those of the Panamera facelift, which means the Turbo model’s twin-turbocharged 4.8-liter V8 should gain 20-horses producing 520PS (513hp) in the base model and 570PS (562hp) in the Turbo S, with small gains in acceleration, and thanks to the new turbos, possibly up to 10 percent improved fuel economy.
A reveal at the Paris Motor Show or LA Auto Show this fall, is likely.
