The simple fact that the car you see here is an estate/wagon being entered by Honda Yuasa Racing in the British Touring Car Championship 2014 (or BTCC), immediately makes it undeniably cool.
First shown off via two shots back in December, the Civic Tourer racer is now featured in a set of shots taken while it was being driven on track.
We will definitely remember this car for years to come, just like some of us still remember those square old Volvo estates that also took part in the competition in the early-to-mid 1990s.
It will enter active duty officially as of March 30, when the first round of the BTCC is planned around the Brands Hatch circuit, in Kent.
Let’s hope it’s competitive too, as that would make for some very exciting racing action, the kind we no longer get from the quieter and greener Formula One we have today.
