Is it me, or are Italdesign Guigiaro’s concepts starting to look like they came straight out of an office located somewhere in Wolfsburg? I mean, the only thing missing from the Italian company’s Clipper concepts are a VW badge up front and a Seat logo at the back…

Together with the four-door version of the Clipper that we showed you on Monday, Italdesign also presented a two-door model called the Clipper Ducati edition, complete with an original towing trailer for the Ducati Panigale 1199 S.

Both Clipper models are built on the VW Group’s MQB platform, but instead of a traditional internal combustion engine, the 4,534mm long, 1,914mm wide and 1,551mm tall MPVs feature two 150-horsepower electric motors, one on each axle, promising a top speed of 204km/h (127mph) with the battery offering a driving range of 504 kilometers (313 miles).

Inside, there are three rows of two seats. When the last two are folded down, they create one large load area with a total volume of around 900 liters.
