While the new C1 won’t arrive in UK dealer lots until July, Citroën has shared detailed pricing info for the French city car with the…angry bird face.

You can have the C1 with three- or five-doors, and an initial choice of two 3-cylinder petrol engines, a 67hp (68PS) 1.0L or an 81hp (82PS) 1.2L, with the range kicking off at £8,245 for the C1 Touch VTi 68 manual 3-door, rising to £11,935 for the C1 Airscape Flair VTi 68 ETG 5-door.

Transmission options for the base 1.0L engine include a 5-speed manual (with or without the ‘Airdream’ Stop & Start technology), and a 5-speed clutchless Efficient Tronic Gearbox (ETG), while the bigger engine is available exclusively with a 5-speed manual.

There are three available trim grades named Touch, Feel and Flair, with all including ABS, electric front windows, six airbags, an MP3 compatible audio system, a USB socket and LED daytime running lights as standard.

The Feel adds air conditioning, DAB digital radio, 7-inch Touch Drive interface with Mirror Screen technology and steering mounted controls, along with body coloured door mirrors and door handles, while the Flair gets 15-inch alloy wheels, a speed limiter, rev counter, reversing camera, electrically heated and adjustable door mirrors, a leather steering wheel and dark tinted rear windows.

The Airscape model is the one with the rollover fabric top that can be had in three colors, black, grey and red.
