The Renault Clio RS, the new turbocharged model, has been creating sides arguing for and against the changes it has suffered well before it was launched, so you can imagine that a Monaco GP edition of it that adds absolutely nothing will go almost unnoticed.

This is because Renault’s Monago GP edition models only come with basic cosmetic changes over the regular car – the most notable is the unique shade of pearlescent white that most come in, numbered plaque attesting its roots, possibly different (or just blacked out) rims and a few luxury features usually complete the list.

The Geneva Motor Show Clio RS Monaco GP is no exception and comes with an optional contrasting black roof and plenty of black “decorative flourishes,” like the door handles, front blade, rear diffuser, protective strips on the side, the rear spoiler and the 17- or 18-inch available wheels.

The cabin is “dominated by complementary black and grey hues. Dark Metal decorative signatures can be found on the steering wheel, gear lever knob and gaiter, steering wheel boss, loudspeaker surrounds and the internal door handles.”

Even the seat belts are finished in grey, which incidentally will be available as an exterior finish (Platinum Grey, they call it) in some selected markets out of the 20 where it will be sold.
