One of the worst parts of having to clean your car of snow and ice in the winter is getting the windscreen wipers to work, usually by slapping them against the glass to break off all of the accumulated ice shards.
It’s more of a tedious process than you’d think, and it doesn’t always work according to plan – the two minutes you think you’re going to spend doing it usually turns into ten (numb fingers).
So, why not have the car do the slapping for you, like in the video you see below?
Thought up and created by Motor City Wiper, out of Detroit, the system you see at work employs the use of servos that are operated via buttons tucked away underneath the ignition key (in the case of the unknown car in the video).
It’s a cool idea, but do you think it will catch on?
