Fans of the current Skoda Fabia rejoice: the Czech automaker has confirmed that it will be revealing the all-new incarnation of its supermini this fall, an important model after the current one sold over 200,000 units in 2013.

However, not a single detail about what the new car will be like was revealed. We can speculate that its main styling cues will be borrowed from the Vision C sedan concept, which doesn’t actually preview a new model, but rather the future styling direction for the brand.

The Fabia has therefore a very good chance of skipping one generation of Skoda’s styling – the one featured on the new Octavia and Rapid. This is just speculation, of course, and the car could end up looking like a slightly shorter Rapid Spaceback, but they already have one of those and it’s called the Rapid Spaceback

Stay tuned for teasers and additional information that will be revealed as we get closer to the announced time frame.
