So, it begins; the facelift work on BMW‘s bread and butter model, the 3-Series sedan that is slowly approaching its half-life of service after three years on the market, with our man on the ground snapping the first shots of prototype with its front end covered.

We believe this is an early tester, so it in all probability, it doesn’t feature all the subtle changes BMW is preparing for the F30 generation model and which should include some tweaks to the rear end and in particular, the bumper and tail lights (or graphics), as has been the case for most of the Bavarian firm’s facelfits.

Little else is known at this point about any other changes BMW may apply to the F30 and whether we’ll see any mechanical revisions other than the addition of a Plug-in Hybrid version, which we spied just last month.

Before we let you look at the pics, let us ask you what kind of styling revisions would you like to see on the 2016 BMW 3-Series? If you can place your artistic thoughts on a JPG file, even better; just post it in the comments or send it to us via email.
