The seller of this black Maserati MC12 says it’s the only one in existence to have been finished in black straight from the factory. Pity they didn’t do more like this, because, well, it just works in black even better than it did in the white/blue combo you’ve come to know it in.

The interior is still blue-themed, just like all the other 50 road cars built, and it looks really nice too set alongside the black exterior finish, with the removable roof panel taken off and sunlight seeping in.

Performance-wise, it would be out-dragged by many a modern supercar (a Ferrari 458 would embarrass it), but keep in mind that in 2005 it was one of the fastest in the world, with a top speed of over 330 km/h (206 mph) and acceleration time to 100 km/h (62 mph) of 3.8 seconds.

As you probably know, it used the same V12 engine and running gear as the Ferrari Enzo, though it’s known to be nicer to drive, with a much nicer interior and additional comfort features.

The price is not specified, though, and if you’re interested, you’ll have to inquire about it yourself here, at Ferrari of Newport Beach.
