You can’t deny that wheelies are an integral part of the bicycling, and for those who progress into the motorized world in their older, but not necessarily…wiser years, motorcycling experience.
And no matter how good or skilled you think you are, there’s always an inherent risk of injury when you lift that front wheel in the air – one that increases dramatically with speed.
Just ask the Russian rider in the following head-cam video who is extremely lucky to be alive after he performed a wheelie on a freeway at speeds of around 160km/h (100mph). The motorcycle took to the air and he almost completed a full summersault.
