This 1966 Lotus Elan, owned by Jay Leno, is probably one of the coolest, most thoughtfully built of its kind in the world. It’s not stock, having been re-engineered when the need called for it.
Meant as a track-day racer with no expenses spared in its creation, the result is simply astonishing, and arguably one of Jay’s best and most unique (sports) cars. One thing is definitely clear: there’s no other Elan like it in the world, with this much care and attention rubbed into it by none other than racecar builder (and former driver) Jim Hall.
