While a lot has been said (mainly of the negative type) about the noise produced by the new-for-2014 1.6-liter turbocharged V6 engines, another subject of attention in the 2014 Formula 1 season are the odd-looking nose section shapes.
However, we’re not the ones poking fingers this time, as the blame goes directly to one of the official players themselves and in particular, the McLaren F1 team and their active Twitter account.
In two separate postings, or Tweets, if you prefer, they compared the 2014 McLaren Mercedes MP4-29’s new nose look that was recently revised to increase airflow beneath the car to the Great Gonzo from The Muppets and a Proboscis monkey. What do you think?
