Smart has announced yet another special edition ForTwo model, this time for the UK market. The Smart ForTwo Grandstyle Edition offers a more luxurious interior and a more stylish exterior, as well as added standard features.
Based on the Passion trim level, the Grandstyle Edition features distinctive gleaming black 15-inch three-double-spoke alloy wheels, headlamps with titanium-colored surrounds and subtle Grandstyle logos in the door mirror triangles. Other exterior upgrades include LED daytime running lights and a choice of five exterior and tridion colours.
On the inside, the Black Artico upholstery offers an “upmarket ambience”, according to Smart, while the leather-trimmed two-spoke steering wheel also contributing to that impression. Standard features also include a cup holder, an Audio system Navigation Highline with 6.5-inch touch screen and air conditioning.
The optional new Comfort Package adds heated seats and electrically-adjustable and heated door mirrors. Given that the only interior photo shows a version with the steering wheel on the left, we’re expecting the Grandstyle Edition to be offered as a left-hand-drive model as well.
Available as a coupé with a panoramic roof, or cabrio with a fully automatic soft top, the Grandstyle Edition offers a choice of 71 hp or 84 hp turbocharged petrol engines.
The Smart ForTwo Grandstyle Edition is priced from £10,330 (€12,489) and is available with a 0 percent interest finance package starting from £99 per month for the 71 hp mhd coupé and from £109 per month for the 84 hp version (for a 36-month contract).
