Yes, that’s the new 2015 Hyundai Genesis you see on the right side of the print-screen and the 47-second mark in the video, and since it hasn’t been made available in Europe, we’re guessing it’s either someone from Hyundai or the press testing it out. Whoever it was…gracefully pulled to the side to let the new Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG continue on its way.
Stuttgart’s high-performance edition of the latest (W205) C-Class follows the industry trend in downsizing with a smaller displacement, but twin-turbocharged, 4.0-liter V8, which should boost torque beyond the 442 lb-ft of the current model’s atmospheric V8, while also reducing consumption and keeping CO2 emissions in check. It will likely produce over 450-horses in regular trim and surpass the 500hp-mark in Black Edition guise(s).
The new powertrain that will be used in the Mercedes-AMG GT sports coupe as well, will have a lighter body to move around, with savings reportedly of up to 100kg (220 pounds) over the current C63 AMG.
