Mercedes has done a rather nice job of hiding the extra 60 mm of length that their stretched C-Class has over the standard wheelbase model – the car’s side profile is hardly distinguishable from it, despite promising more rear legroom and easier access.
The white car you see here was snapped up in China, where it’s set to be officially revealed at the Beijing motor show this month. It has an optional AMG pack fitted and is the C260L model.
To their credit, it does not look at all like a sedan that was elongated in the middle, a similar feat they pulled off with the S-Class flagship too.
The photos you see below are quick shots, probably taken when the security guard wasn’t looking, and more angles would have been desirable. They’re still worth a look, though.
