Is this a jet or a motorcycle that YouTuber Wilfred Lebron filmed on the road? Well, it’s a little bit of both mixing the internals of a Honda Gold Wing motorcycle, including the 1.5-liter six-cylinder engine, with a body on top that resembles a Convair F-106 Delta Dart.
Oh, did we mention that it has an operational afterburner with a custom-built turbine? But no, it won’t fly into the air…
As reported on HuffPost, this street-legal creation is believed to be Ron Gallops’ F-106 Jet Cycle nicknamed Freedom 1. .
In an interview with SP-Times back in 2005, Gallops said he “has been transforming machines since he was 4” and the idea for the Jet Cycle came in 2001. He noted that the biggest issue with Freedom 1 is what you see in the video, drivers gawking at the build: “You have to be paying attention because the people are looking at it, and they’re running all over the lane,” he said.
