This odd-looking and named Filandi Ever S roadster started life as a Mercedes-Benz SL 500 from the R129 generation. Unfortunately, its owner thought he could do better than designers Johann Tomforde and Bruno Sacco and decided to give it a complete exterior redesign.

The result looks like a cross between the Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss and Frankenstein’s monster – I have to admit that, I looked at it from all possible angles trying to find a favorable view but I failed miserably.

Spotted in Italy at the Motori e Sapori meeting in Castelfranco Emilia, the Filandi Ever S is a one-off, with the paint-less aluminum body shaped entirely by hand.

Underneath the ludicrous shape, the Ever S remains a Mercedes-Benz SL 500, which means it’s powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine producing 306 hp.
