Nissan Nismo athlete Al Buncombe had an unbelievable start in the opening race of the 2014 Blanc Pain Endurance series at Monza, climbing 17 places in the first lap alone. He started the race down the grid in 32nd out of 44 cars, but ended his second lap in 13th position.
Driving a Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3, Buncombe overtook Porsche, Aston, Audi, Bentley, Mercedes, Lamborghini, BMW and Jaguar cars in a quick succession of maneuvers that happens quite rarely in modern racing.
