As far as regular consumers are concerned, Hyundai’s as-of-yet unnamed, upcoming entry in the commercial vehicle category and rival to the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and VW Crafter, is about as interesting as, well, an Excel spreadsheet. Then why did Hyundai attempt to buy and prevent these shots from showing up on the web, and in particular, the ones with the interior from our spies?

Well, the only reason we can think of is that they didn’t want the competition to get an early preview of the commercial series’ inner workings.

“When Hyundai found out we had these interior photos of their new transporter they contacted us right away in order to buy the photos off the market,” our spies told us adding that, while they came to an agreement, Hyundai “forgot” to complete the deal. Yes, welcome to the intricate world of spies and auto manufacturers…

Just saying and you should already know this, but if it were us, we wouldn’t (and have never done so) consider the return option.

Any who, just like the vehicles it will go up against, the new Hyundai model will be offered in a variety of body styles and lengths to fit different needs.
