There is nothing understated about the V12 Vantage S, despite the presence of the Aston Martin badge on its bonnet. It’s the fastest production Aston Martin (the limited-edition One-77 is not built anymore) and is not shy at all to show it.
Unlike traditional Aston Martins, the V12 Vantage S trades low-key elegance for aggressiveness, thanks to its bulged bonnet pierced with breathing orifices for the 6.0-liter V12 engine, the racy grille and front splitter, as well as the darkened details.
This review from XCAR is not the first one we’ve seen, but it confirms that it’s a great car. It’s not perfect, though, as Alex Goy points out that the seven-speed robotized manual gearbox is quite unpleasant. Gear changes are slow and sometimes happen at the most inappropriate times, especially in the city.
