There are many ways to get attention and one of them is using attractive women – usually a safe bet when it comes to promoting new cars. That’s exactly what Citroën is doing with this alleged mysterious teaser.
I used the word “alleged” because the French carmaker doesn’t mention the name of the car that can be seen in the lady’s eyeglasses, but the photo’s filename uncovers the mystery – “teaser_DS_3_nouvelle_signature_lumineuse”, which is French for “let’s tease the new headlights of the DS3” (joking, of course).
The headlights appear to feature LED technology with integrated LED daytime running lights. We can’t see anything else from this teaser, but the lower part of the bumper could be redesigned as well since the LED DRLs have migrated from the sides of the bumper to the headlights.
No details are offered except that on Thursday, May 22, Citroën will unveil the car. We’ll have to wait until tomorrow to find out whether changes operated to the DS3 will be only cosmetic or skin-deep as well.
