Because they have a record everything these days, the all-important skill of being able to drive without seeing ahead (blindfolded) is endorsed by the Guinness Book of World Records which already has the category set up and a record already in place.

Currently, the fastest anybody has driven without seeing where they’re going is 186.12 mph or 297.8 km/h. It was set back in September of 2013.

Now, a UK-based company is asking anybody who’s feeling up to it to sign up and give breaking the record a shot. The goal is to pass 200 mph or 320 km/h in a Ferrari 458 Challenge racing car.

The timing procedure is the same as for any speed attempt: two runs, one in each direction, with the average speed calculated at the end.

If you don’t think you can do it on your own, then don’t worry, because for two days before the record attempt, you will be tutored by an ex F1 driver and PerryMcCarthy, the original Top Gear Stig.

The (low quality, soundless) video posted below is the prior attempt at breaking the record.
