If driving a small and odd-looking convertible car from the 1970s that nobody has ever seen or heard of, then this little ’72 Fiat 850 Spider has your name on it. The eBay bid for it currently sits at $3,500, but with less than two days left for the auction, it probably won’t jump to crazy heights just before time runs out.
The car’s Bertone-styled body panels are finished in original orange and are in excellent shape according to the seller. He’s keen to emphasize that it’s been kept in a garage for all its life, and the only things on it that are not from the factory are the (period correct) Muretti wheels and an aftermarket exhaust system which you too would want to install on such a fun little car.
At least it’d be a little louder than stock, because it doesn’t really provide much in the way of go: it’s a straight-four unit that displaces 843 cc, makes 34 hp and gives the car a top speed of around 80 mph or 130 km/h – the exact opposite of this monster-Bentley.
