Offered in the UK under the Chrysler brand, the (Lancia) Ypsilon is entering a new model year that brings it in line with the rest of Europe with new entry and premium editions, added equipment on certain models, plus fresh colour choices and names.

The Ypsilon is available with a selection of three engines, 1.2-litre 68hp (69PS) petrol, 1.3-litre MultiJet 94hp (95PS) diesel, and 0.9-litre 84hp (85PS) petrol and three trim levels named Silver, Gold and Premium, with prices starting from £9,895 OTR for the 1.2 Silver.

The new Silver that replaces the S version has new seat design and offers three fresh colours named Marble Grey, Khaki Grey, and Sapphire Blue, along with choice of new internal and external finishes for details like the front grille and dashboard panel.

Next in line is the SE-replacing Gold version that keeps the same equipment and look, while at the top of the range is the new Platinum edition that packs several standard features such as 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, rear power windows, cruise control, part leather seats and Magic Parking assist.

“Ypsilon has always been, and will remain, an important car in the Chrysler line-up,” commented Damien Dally, head of brand, Chrysler UK. “We know it is up against some tough competition and that is why we have refreshed the range to make it even more competitive. We are confident that we are offering an attractive package, with excellent technology and equipment, at exceptional value-for-money prices.”
