While manufacturers go on about how they’re making their cars more efficient, it’s always a matter of perspective with these things; they may be efficient in some favorable comparisons, but may prove otherwise in the real world or against genuinely efficient rivals. Then there is also the discrepancy between actual and claimed figures too…
Consumer Reports fitted its own consumption measuring gizmos to the cars it bought and tested, and it pinpointed some of the biggest gas-guzzlers. Some are cars that you wouldn’t even expect to be mentioned in this way, but they are – the Nissan Armada was bound to be on the list, though, and it is.
If completely accurate, then this is genuinely valuable consumer information that will actually help you choose the car you want (or can afford).
