Volvo’s crossover and SUV range comprises the more subtle Cross Country and the more rugged XC editions. For the V40 hatch, the Swedes applied the lighter Cross Country treatment, but the brand’s tuning partner Heico Sportiv, has come up with a new package to give the five-door model an XC look and feel.

Currently in the development phase, Heico Sportiv released a digitally-made photo of their V40 Cross Country (CC) XC package, which on the outside, includes broader fenders with or without mudguards, bigger wheels and a raised suspension.

The 8-piece polyurethane fender extensions are attached to the body with 3M adhesive tape to “avoid all cutting and drilling of the body”, according to Heico, and will be optionally available with black textured paint to match the bumpers. The re-tuned suspension with different shock absorbers and springs lifts the body by 30mm.

In addition, owners can get Heico’s performance kit that increases the output of the D3 engine from 150PS (148hp) to 195PS (192hp) and the T5 from 254PS (251hp) to 268PS (264hp), as well as brand new paddle shifters for automatic models with series-manufactured paddle shifters, optionally in anodized silver or HEICO blue.
