To give us an idea of how big the cargo space of the 2015 Transit is, Ford arranged for its new van to meet the world’s smallest production car, the Peel P50. As you probably expect, there were no problems whatsoever for the Peel to fit inside the Transit’s belly, but the demonstration went further than that.

The automaker wanted to show that the Peel P50 could also make a…U-turn inside the Transit. Ford says the Transit offers more cargo space that what competing vans from Chevrolet and Ram are offering.

The European-spec Transit offers up to 15.1 cubic-meters of cargo space (533 cu-ft), while the U.S.-spec model has slightly less cargo space, at 473 cubic-feet (13.39 cubic-meters).

But is that enough room for the Peel to turn around? Scroll down to find out from the video.
