Radical kept the formula for their first-ever coupe, the RXC, simple and made it into as much of a road-legal racer as they could. Everything from the mini-LMP design, the ultra-low (and stiff) suspension, the gearbox, that huge rear wing and the Spartan interior all scream heavy track bias.
Consequently, when you take it out on a drive of soaking wet British backroads, like in the XCar video below, you need to have your wits about you, especially if you want to open up the 350 hp Ford Mustang V6.
On a dry surface, the manufacturer claims it fires the RXC from naught to sixty (96km/h) in 2.8 seconds and on to a top speed (limited by gearing) of 175 mph or 280 km/h – plenty, in other words…
If you have the cash and room in your garage for a third or fourth car and you really want people to stare at you and always have them wondering if your car is road-legal, then by all means go out and buy one – you can have it in any color you like and there’s even an in-house designed V8 engine to opt for, if you’re so inclined.
