So…I’ve been patiently looking around for a BMW E30 (among other classic cars, to be honest) and obviously, the M3 would have been the first choice if not for their exuberant prices these days, but I wouldn’t say no to a 325i Touring manual. While never sold in the States, the E30 Touring is now covered by the 25-year-old import law, which explains their frequent appearances on U.S. soil these past months.

While not perfect, this dark silver 1988 325i Touring found on eBay ticks plenty of boxes – it features the 2.5-liter straight-six linked to a five-speed manual; it looks to be in decent condition and has 89,000 miles (~ 143,000 km).

Of course, there has to be a “but”, which in this case, is that the car was imported from the UK and is…right hand drive; damn, right?

You could drive it as is or attempt to flip the steering around, but that would be a pain in the other butt, not to mention a very costly option. Plus, I think more of these cars will be heading State-side over the next couple of years so it might be wise to wait for the right car.
