Mercedes’ W205 series C-Class is set to bloom with at least two new AMG models within the next 12 months, including the tamer 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 C450 AMG Sport and the 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 C63 AMG that will spawn an even wilder Black Series Edition as well.
Artist Wild Speed rendered the next C63 AMG sedan for Road Mag using existing spy shots and styling cues from the current E63 AMG, while YouTuber TouriClips is adding to our knowledge about Stuttgart’s BMW M3 rival with a video of two prototypes of the car battling it out on the Nürburgring.
The C63 AMG’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo unit that replaces the current model’s naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 is expected to deliver more than 450hp even in its base configuration giving it the power-edge over the new M3.
