Just imagine a motorcyclist crashing into a car, performing a complete flip into the air over a vehicle, walking away like nothing happened; it sounds like a far-fetched scene from an action-packed Chuck Norris or Jackie Chan movie, but for one rider from Florida, it was a (terrifying) reality. Oh, did we mention that he wasn’t wearing a helmet?

If it wasn’t for the freshly released CCTV footage from a red light camera, no one would believe his story.

According to the police, Michael Smith, 22, from Clearwater, Florida, had the right of way as the driver of the car, who had a suspended license, made an improper left turn. The Washington Post said the driver was cited for both offenses, while Smith was ticketed for driving without a Florida state motorcycle license.

Speaking about the incident, Smith told Bay News 9: “He just came out in front of me so I just braced for impact. Hit the front back brakes the same exact time. I ejected myself. I wasn’t going through the car. I had to go over it.”
