Unless you are living in the United States, the most important sporting event of the year for you is definitely the FIFA World Cup, soccer’s/football’s top competition among nations held every four years in a different country.
As this year’s host nation is Brazil, Kia thought it would be a great opportunity to show Americans what the word football means for the rest of the planet, especially since the U.S. national team is also present among the 32 nations competing for the trophy.
The Korean automaker released three commercials featuring Adriana Lima, one of Brazil’s top supermodels, in which she uses her personal charm to convince fans of American football and NASCAR to watch soccer at least for the duration of the FIFA World Cup.
While I am absolutely sure these commercials won’t change American sports fans’ preferences, they are really enjoyable to watch. Oh, and if you watch closely, you might notice some Kia vehicles in the videos as well.
