TheKorean sports car maker Oullim Motors is said to be bringing its Spirra model to sell in Europe, though unlike the local market model, which gets its power from conventional V6 engines, the Euro-bound variant will feature electric motors and batteries instead.
Apparently, the cars’ chassis would also be assembled in Europe, at the newly acquired site of startup Spirra Europe, located in Friesland, the Netherlands.
The Spirra EV will be an all-wheel drive model, completely electric, and thus more expensive than conventional rivals. Autovisie says it could cost as much as €200,000 or about $273,000 when (and if) it debuts as planned, in 2015.
