For the 2015 model year, Land Rover has applied some minor modifications to the Discovery, which can now be specified with features from the XXV Special Edition anniversary model revealed earlier this year.

Customers can now add luxury features from the special edition model to their Land Rover Discovery of choice with the option of Ebony/Cirrus Dual-tone Windsor Leather seats and the Grand Black Lacquer wood and leather-wrapped steering wheel. A new Straight Grained Walnut wood and leather steering wheel also become available, with respective wood veneer sets offered as an additional customer option.

For the exterior, customers can specify the XXV 20-inch 5-split spoke forged alloy wheels with a light silver polished finish, while new body colors also become available. Aruba, Kaikoura Stone and Montalcino Red will be offered from start of sales followed by a new metallic white called Yulong joining the range at a later date.

In a number of key markets, the 2015 Land Rover Discovery also gets the Land Rover InControlTM Apps as a customer option to complement the Discovery’s existing infotainment system and improve in-car connectivity. The system brings compatible smartphone apps into the owner’s vehicle and displays and controls them from the vehicle’s touchscreen.

The 2015 Discovery will continue to be available with the 340PS (335hp) 3.0-liter V6 Supercharged petrol engine, the 211PS (208hp) 3.0-liter TDV6 entry-level diesel unit and the 256PS (252hp) 3.0-liter SDV6 diesel. All updates for the 2015 model year are available to order on the Discovery now with customer deliveries starting from September.
