Since the Ford Fiesta ST has a turbocharged strapped onto its 1.6-liter petrol engine, that means you can do any number of fairly simple operations to boost its power output and responsiveness.
Obviously doing the intake is important, since factory air filters are made out of paper and not good for power at all, then succeeded by a software remap because the stock one is restrictive as well, and finally followed by the installation of a new (louder) exhaust, mostly just to announce you arrival.
That is the recipe for easily over 220 hp at the wheels, as the video posted below via TheSmokingTire illustrates.
The American version of the Fiesta ST was already more powerful than the Euro variant, and came with two more doors, but with the kind of modifications that have been brought to it closer to the larger and meaner Focus ST. It would be nice if they did a video of this Fiesta drag raced against a stock hot Focus, purely just for reference, not fun.
