While the photos of the other one-off F12 TRS are quite dark (which we partly fixed) and low quality (which we didn’t), what they reveal is probably one of the most exciting front-engined drop-top Ferraris for ages.
It’s exciting not so much thanks to the monster V12 under its bonnet, but rather the different and aggressive styling it’s been bestowed with that makes all the difference.
Only one is reportedly being made, and it will be the kind of car that will draw the most camera lenses at exclusive car events like Villa D’Este and others of the sort.
One interesting technical fact that’s been speculated in a forum post about the F12 TRS is that it could use a KERS system, similar to what the LaFerrari uses. This means that it could make a lot more power than the stock 740-horse output, plus the added benefit of having torque fill to keep surging forward even during gear-changes.
