Of all the promotional liveries in the world of motorsports, Martini Racing’s colors are perhaps, one of the most recognized and liked among auto enthusiasts. We’ve seen many individuals apply the Italian brand’s decals on their cars, but Porsche, which has a special relationship with Martini that dates backed to the 1970s, offers them on their cars via special editions.
It did so recently with the new 918 Spyder and now, the 911 is getting the Martini Racing treatment as well through the release of a special edition version limited to 80 units worldwide, two of which are destined for the UK.
According to Germany’s Autozeitung, the Martini Racing edition builds on the 911 Carrera S with the 400PS (395hp) flat-six equipped with the ‘Aerokit Cup’ package, a PDK dual-clutch transmission, Sport Chrono and a Sport Design steering wheel.
Besides Maritini’s distinctive red and blue decals on the hood, roof and just above the side skirts, the special edition 911 S that will be available in a choice of black or white exterior, also gets illuminated door entry strips with ‘Martini Racing Edition’ lettering.
